Changing the surface and remaking the surface are different. Changing the surface and, remaking the surface are different.

There is a reason it didn't work with just one laser. There is a reason it didn't work with just one laser.

It doesn’t end with hospital treatment alone.

If the effects did not last long even after laser treatment,
the skin barrier is the cause.

Why do problems keep coming back?

Even if you’ve had laser or peeling treatments,
if you’ve experienced dark spots and breakouts returning,
the reason is mostly four changes
that are happening simultaneously on the skin’s surface.

STEP 01 · Start

Delayed cell turnover cycle

Skin cells do not turn over in time and build up making the surface look dull.

STEP 02 · Progress

Reduced protective barrier function

Moisture is lost and it becomes sensitive to external irritants, creating a vicious cycle.

STEP 03 · Advanced

Pigment cell irregularity

As melanin is distributed unevenly, it appears as melasma and blemishes.

STEP 04 · Results

Accumulated surface structural damage

The elastic and adhesive layer of the upper dermis weakens and leads to pores and scars.

✅ Obliv's treatment guide

Surface ageing is caused by several factors acting at the same time. We design by first identifying which factor is the main problem.

If you have these concerns

  • No matter how much I care for it, the melasma keeps coming back.
  • It cannot even be covered with makeup because of acne scars.
  • The pores look enlarged and the skin is uneven.
  • Becomes red or stings immediately after cleansing

✅ Obliv's treatment guide

These concerns may all look like "surface problems", but the underlying layers and mechanisms causing them are different. Before deciding on a procedure, we first check which type it is.

The barrier comes first :
You cannot do new interior work on a collapsed roof.

If the effects did not last long even after laser treatment, the skin barrier may be the cause. Obliv adds barrier strengthening and protection before and after the main treatment.

STEP 01 · BEFORE

Barrier reinforcement

Before the procedure, the skin barrier is replenished. It is prepared so that the treatment effects reach the intended area accurately.

STEP 02 · CORE

This procedure

The procedure is carried out while the protective barrier remains intact. Side effects are reduced, and effectiveness is improved.

STEP 03 · AFTER

Barrier protection

After the procedure, it closes the skin again. It blocks irritation and, with soothing ingredients, helps recovery to make the effects last longer.

It doesn’t end with hospital treatment alone.

About 10 trillion microorganisms live on the skin surface. Strong cleansers, alkaline products and excessive peeling disrupt this balance. Recurring redness, sensitivity and blemishes are often the result of this balance being disrupted.

Obliv also co-designs products beyond the hospital.

The results of the treatment vary in how long they last depending on the products used at home. If the barrier restored by the treatment is broken down again by alkaline cleansers or strong peels, the interval between subsequent treatments will inevitably become shorter.

Obliv prescribes not only clinic treatments, but also products for use at home, to match skin acidity (pH 5.5). For treatment and home care to move in the same direction, the results of treatment are maintained for longer.

Skin is renewed every 28 days

Skin cells are born in the deepest layer, rise to the surface over 28 days, and then naturally shed. Understanding this cycle also shows why "consistency" matters.

DAY 1

Birth of new cells

DAY 3–7

Cells are tightly connected

DAY 8–15

Replenishes moisture and protective ingredients

DAY 16–23

Surface protective layer complete

DAY 24–28

naturally eliminated

✅ Obliv's treatment guide

If you have it once and stop there, the next generation of cells will return to a weakened state. It must be repeated consistently for cells to develop a habit of becoming healthy on their own. Obliv’s recommended retreatment interval is designed on this principle.

Different problems require different approaches.

Even for the same skin concern, the right treatment differs depending on the cause and location. Obliv is designed by dividing it into four types.

TYPE A · Hue · Pigment

Dark spots · blemishes · uneven skin tone

Dark spots / blemishes / uneven skin tone

It is the result of pigment cells producing too much pigment in response to ultraviolet light, hormones and inflammation. The type of laser used varies depending on whether the pigment is on the surface or in deeper layers.

Obliv's approach

Designed as a seamless process, from selecting the wavelength suited to the depth and type of pigment, to selectively breaking down only the pigment, and then through to maintenance to help prevent recurrence.

TYPE B · Skin texture · Radiance

Dull tone · rough texture · reduced radiance

The skin looks dull and rough in texture

As the skin cell turnover cycle slows, dead cells build up on the surface and cannot reflect light evenly. The moisture and regeneration environment in the upper dermis is also weakened.

Obliv's approach

Promotes skin cell turnover + delivers moisture and regeneration signals to the upper dermis at the same time.

TYPE C · Pores · Scars

Enlarged pores · acne scars · uneven skin texture

Pores are visible and the skin surface is uneven

It is the result of a combination of sebum, reduced elasticity, dead skin cells and scar tissue. Treating only the surface will not solve it; the dermal structure also needs to be remodelled.

Obliv's approach

RF microneedling for skin structure remodelling + sebum control + scar regeneration stimulation.

TYPE D · Sensitive · Regeneration

Redness · Sensitive · Damaged barrier

Easily becomes red and stings after washing the face

When the skin barrier is damaged, it can easily become red, itchy, and sting even with minor irritation. In this state, standard lasers can actually have the opposite effect.

Obliv's approach

Selective vascular laser or barrier repair combined with anti-inflammatory and regenerative ingredients. Check the barrier condition before the procedure first.

Obliv’s Choice

If you have ever had an experience where a single laser treatment did not resolve the issue, in most cases it is because type assessment was missed. Obliv determines the type during the pre-treatment consultation.

Skin Renewal treatment, equipment suited to my skin type

Instead of listing the same cards, we grouped them into 4 types. Check above which type your concern falls under, then choose the equipment below.

A · colour tone · pigment

These are devices that address freckles, blemishes and uneven skin tone.

Pico Alex

PICO LASER · Layer 1·2

Recommended

When you need treatment for deep pigmentation, stubborn dark spots, or tattoo removal.

It physically shatters pigment particles using picosecond ultrashort pulses. Because it generates little heat, damage to surrounding tissue is reduced, and the risk of pigmentation side effects is low.

Brighton

PIGMENT LASER · Layer 1

Recommended

When hyperpigmentation, blemishes and redness occur together.

Wavelengths selectively absorbed by pigment and blood vessels break down melanin and haemoglobin. Applied to blemishes, melasma and vascular dilation, while minimising damage to surrounding tissue.

Noblin

LASER TONING · Layer 1

Recommended

Melasma maintenance · regular tone care.

Suppresses melanin production by repeatedly stimulating the skin with low energy using laser toning. Used to even out skin tone and improve overall complexion.

B · skin texture · radiance

These are devices that address dull tone, rough texture and loss of radiance.

U-Pulse Fraxel

FRACTIONAL LASER · Layer 1·2·3

Recommended

When the aim is overall skin regeneration and elasticity.

The laser is split into thousands of microscopic columns and applied. It only damages the treated areas while preserving the surrounding skin, promoting faster regeneration. Full-thickness regeneration and improved elasticity.

Mirajet

JET INJECTION · Layer 1·2

Recommended

When you need hydration and brightening together / When worries about pain and sensitivity are high.

Delivers active ingredients (HA, whitening and regenerating ingredients) into the skin under high pressure, without needles. Suitable even for sensitive skin.

C · Pores · Scars

These are devices used to treat enlarged pores, acne scars and uneven skin texture.

Potenza

RF Microneedling · Layer 1·2

Recommended

When enlarged pores and acne scars are your main concern.

RF energy is delivered precisely into the skin via microneedles. RF acts only at the depth reached by the needles, stimulating the dermis without damaging the epidermis. Downtime is relatively short.

CO2 laser

Resurfacing · Layer 1·2

Recommended

When acne scars are deep and you can tolerate the recovery period.

Using a CO2 laser that is absorbed by water, the epidermis and upper dermis are gradually removed to stimulate regeneration. It is effective for deep scars, enlarged pores and wrinkles, and although recovery time is needed, the results are long-lasting.

D · Parallel · Maintain

These devices accelerate regeneration and help maintain the results when used alongside other treatments.

skin booster

INJECTABLE · Layer 1·2

Recommended

When you want to keep the effects lasting longer by combining it with other treatments.

Inject regenerative ingredients such as HA, PDRN, exosomes and growth factors into the upper dermis. Hydration replenishment + enhanced regeneration signals + improved radiance and texture.

CONSULTATION

If you're not sure which type your concern falls into
,
we first determine it during the consultation.

The surface is the final finishing layer.

Even if skin texture is improved, if sagging remains, the overall impression does not change. Obliv sees Skin Renewal not as a standalone treatment, but as the final stage of the plan. If sagging, volume loss and changes in contour are all present, try combining it with the page below.

FAQ

Do you have any questions?

+ Which laser is right for melasma and blemishes?

Pigmentation concentrated in the epidermis responds well to PicoAlex and BrightON. Melasma distributed deep within the dermis requires an approach that repeatedly suppresses melanin production through Nobleen laser toning. We first diagnose the depth and type of the pigmentation, then design the treatment accordingly.

+ How many treatment sessions are needed for acne scars?

Although it varies depending on the depth and extent of the scar, we recommend 3–5 treatments with Potenza (RF microneedling) or a CO2 laser. For the best results, it is most effective to carry them out at 4–6 week intervals, in line with the skin cell turnover cycle (28 days).

+ Why is UV protection important after laser treatment?

After laser treatment, the skin becomes temporarily sensitive to ultraviolet rays. UV rays can stimulate pigment cells and cause pigmentation, so to maintain the effects of the treatment, you must use a sunscreen with SPF50 or higher.

+ Can sensitive skin also have laser treatment?

Yes, it is possible. Mirajet delivers ingredients without needles, so it can also be used on sensitive skin, and skin boosters help strengthen the skin barrier. Obliv checks the condition of the skin barrier before treatment and, if necessary, first carries out barrier-strengthening care.

+ What treatments are effective for reducing pores?

Potenza (RF microneedling) is the most effective treatment for reducing pore size. It delivers RF energy precisely into the skin to regulate sebum production and restore dermal elasticity. With minimal downtime, it is easy to fit into your daily life.
